Aparna Lerchner was born and raised in Vienna, Austria.  Her exposure to Indian culture began in early childhood, due to her parents' profound interest in the people and traditions of India.

Aparna has studied in a program of the renowned Kuchipudi Art Academy in Madras southern India for 6 years and has given performances throughout India  in Europe and the United States.

She has a unique teaching ability and a strong desire to contribute to the understanding between East and West through the beautiful art of Indian dance.
